Kyra Kimpton is a performer, creator and disabled artist. She has been a member of the Restless Dance Theatre Youth Ensemble for the past three years and has served for two years as a Dancers Representative on the Board of Management. She also works regularly with the education team.

Over the past four years Kyra has been involved in a number of independent projects including dance, film, instillation and theatre. She co-directed Blink – a short dance film nominated for both the SASA and SALA 2009 awards and choreographed and performed in The Forest – winner Best Performing Arts/Music award SASA 2007.

Her current projects include Prelude, a collaboration in London with UK based choreographer Jemima Hoadley. Kyra presented the first stage of Prelude at the Arts Activated National Conference 2010 at the Sydney Powerhouse.
