Zoe MessengerZoe has had technical dance training since she was eight years old. She has learnt styles such as, jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary and neo-classical. Zoe has also been involved in singing lessons, drama classes, improvisation groups and theatre performance throughout high school. She became involved in RDT through the Second Story Project, which was a workshop for youths with mental health issues. Zoe has depression and anxiety problems and uses dance as a medium for relaxation and release of stress. She has become involved more and more with RDT since that workshop with Restless Central and Debut 3 where in 201 she performed in Jianna Georgiou’s Superhero Island. RDT has inspired Zoe to mix her passions of visual art, dance and people with special needs and become a carer working within day options programs. Zoe is hoping to continue being involved in RDT for many years to come. |
