Ingrid is a performance maker, director and choreographer. She specialises in making and directing collaboratively devised performances and is currently studying toward a master of Animateuring (cross-modal performance) by research in the Victorian College of Arts theatre department. In 2006 Ingrid co-founded performance company Ladykillers, with whom she now works as an associate artist. Ladykillers’ works include Cake, The Pyjama Girl and Based on a True Story.

Ingrid originally trained as a dancer, and has worked consistently as a maker across theatre and dance theatre since 1996, creating work independently and with a range of companies and collaborators. In 2007/2008 she was Artistic Director of Restless. Beauty is the tenth work she has made with the company, with previous works including Safe from Harm, Rebel Rebel, In The Blood and Precious.
