Starry Eyed was a dance theatre work about life pathways, direction, choice and ambition. The dancers questioned where they have come from, where they are going and what they are doing right now.
Starry Eyed pressed ‘pause’ on the living-cycle and explored how the future is made up of the past and how the decisions we make today affect the futures we wish to create.
Starry Eyed was not so much about what the dreams actually are but more about why we have them and how we include them in our life planning and decision making. Starry Eyed was about what makes us ambitious about reaching our goals and what we need to do to get where we want to go. The dancers discovered that perhaps success is not a destination rather a process through which we discover ourselves. – Kat Worth
