Roz Hervey

Highly respected, Adelaide based, dance artist Roz Hervey has agreed to assist Restless in the role of Artistic Manager. Roz will provide a guiding hand and advice while the company takes stock. Restless will advertise the position of Artistic Director later in the year.
Roz is a dance graduate of the Centre for Performing Arts. Over the last 28 years she has worked for numerous dance, dance theatre and theatre companies including; One Extra Company, Sydney Front, Dance North, Theatre of Image, Sue Healey, Meryl Tankard Co, DV8, Force Majeure, Brink Theatre Co, Slingsby and Patch Theatre Co. With these companies she has toured extensively throughout Australia, Europe and South East Asia. In 2002 she won the Ausdance Outstanding performance by a female dancer award for her performance in Force Majeure’s Same same but Different.

She has taught physical theatre for numerous performing arts colleges and youth theatre companies, including Urban Myth Youth Theatre Company, Cirkidz, AC Arts and Flinders Drama Centre.    In the last 12 years she has also worked as an event co-ordinator for Adelaide Festival 2000, Comeout 2001 Opening and Parade, SA day 1999, Bundaleer Sunday Walks 2003, Comeout 05 Opening and Adelaide Fringe Parade 2012.
