Restless Dance Theatre presents Junction a series of dance classes, for people aged 27+ with and without disability, who are looking for a creative outlet and a place to either begin, or further their dance training. The focus of the class is on creative tasking and improvisation, experimenting with different stimulus for movement, forming social connections with other participants and finding enjoyment in self-expression.
The workshops involve creating movement in a safe and fun environment where the participants’ ideas become dance. No experience is necessary, just the desire to take part. Workshops are open to people with and without disability and are led by highly experienced tutors in an accessible space.
Participating in Restless workshops provides therapeutic benefits which encourage independence and inclusion. Participants gain confidence, life-long friendships and potential career pathways in the arts. You can claim for the workshops through NDIS Core Support – community social and recreational.
