Restless Dance Theatre is excited to launch ReMix, a new year-long initiative led by and for Autistic and neurodivergent artists. Proudly supported by the Office for Autism, the ReMix team will co-design and deliver inclusive dance workshops for schools, create sensory-friendly public performances, and implement long-term access improvements in our studio.
At the heart of the ReMix program is a commitment to Autistic leadership. This means that Autistic and neurodivergent artists are not only participants — they are the decision-makers, facilitators, and creators driving the project. From designing inclusive dance workshops to leading access audits and performing in sensory-friendly events, their voices shape every stage of the process. By embedding lived experience into the program’s development and delivery, ReMix creates space for meaningful participation, nurtures artistic growth, and opens new pathways for Autistic individuals to lead and be recognised as leaders in the arts sector.
