Looking for an inclusive dance class for your teenager in Lightsview?

CENTRAL is Restless Dance Theatre’s inclusive weekly dance and creative movement program for young people aged 12–18 years, coming to The Lights Community and Sports Centre in Lightsview in Term 4.

CENTRAL is a place to move, express yourself, meet other young people and explore your creativity in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Whether your teenager already loves dance or is simply looking for a new activity, CENTRAL offers a relaxed space to explore movement, develop confidence and connect with others.

Dance, creativity and connection

CENTRAL explores contemporary dance, improvisation and creative movement through fun and engaging activities.

Participants can develop their coordination, physical fitness and movement skills while exploring their own creativity and individual expression.

Inclusive dance classes for teenagers in Lightsview

At Restless Dance Theatre, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate in dance and creative experiences.

CENTRAL classes are designed to be adaptable and welcoming to young people with different abilities, experience levels and support needs.

There is no expectation that everyone will move in the same way. Participants are encouraged to explore movement at their own pace and find ways of participating that work for them.

CENTRAL is a social, recreational and creative space where young people can be themselves, try something new and connect with others.

What can my teenager expect?

Your teenager doesn’t need to have previous dance experience to join CENTRAL.

Classes are welcoming, creative and adaptable. Participants can explore contemporary dance and movement while being encouraged to participate in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful to them.

We recommend comfortable clothing that allows participants to move freely.

If your teenager is coming to Restless for the first time, our team can help them get settled and understand what to expect.

About Restless Dance Theatre

Restless Dance Theatre is an Australian leader in inclusive dance and dance theatre. For more than 35 years, we have created opportunities for people with and without disability to participate in dance, creativity and performance.

Our public classes are informed by the Restless methodology, our approach to creating inclusive and collaborative spaces where every person can contribute.

CENTRAL is one of several Restless Dance Theatre public classes offered across Adelaide and South Australia.

NDIS and payment information

Restless Dance Theatre is a non-NDIS provider, however our classes are guided by the NDIS price guide.

CENTRAL can be claimed through NDIS Core Supports – Community, Social and Recreational, depending on your individual plan and circumstances.

The rate for CENTRAL is $37.50 per hour on weekdays and $42.50 per hour on weekends.

Non-NDIS payment options are also available.
