from the artistic director Hello
We had a massive turnout of people interested in our Korean collaboration: Correlation at the Bob Hawke Centre on 2 September. Dr Maggie Tonkin guided the panel discussion which featured Dr Boram Lee, Roz Hervey, dancers Jianna Georgiou and Alexis Luke and myself. Many people commented what a wonderful insight it was into the company’s processes.
Covid has forced us to cancel a recent tour! We were all organised to tour two recent works to HOTA (Home of the Arts) on the Gold Coast in QLD. The dancers were to perform Seeing Through Darkness and Ecoute Pour Voir but new cases of Covid in QLD meant that we had to cancel. Many thanks and commiserations to Roz Hervey who worked so hard to set the tour up only to see it cancelled at the last moment. However, we were able to provide online workshops with local people and to provide links to audiences to view Seeing Through Darkness and to screen Michelle’s Story at HOTA.
There is an opportunity coming up for people in Adelaide city to get a sneak preview of our upcoming work “Exposed” – which is being developed with the help of RISE funding. If you are an Adelaide resident come along to the “In Conversation” event in the Restless Studio on 29 October. Booking link below.
And there are a couple of Special Offer deals for events coming up as part of the Oz Asia Festival in late October early November. See the links below
