Andrew comes to the team with over 30 years in commercial roles, including four years in London and Edinburgh. His experience is in a diverse range of industries, including retail (IKEA and Bridgestone), banking software development (Data Action), legal services (Minter Ellison) and financial consulting (Deloitte).
He hopes to use his broad commercial experience, particularly in growing businesses, to work with the existing team to strengthen the governance, reporting and overall commercial maturity to enable Hames Sharley to achieve its strategic growth targets.
Andrew has also been the Treasurer of Adelaide Fringe since 2016, Chairs the Finance Committee and is a member of the Risk Committee. As a Chartered Accountant and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Andrew has held senior executive roles in a range of industries including professional services, retail, manufacturing and consulting as well as Director roles for a private technology company and a NFP Foundation. Andrew is currently Principal of Finance and Company Secretary for Hames Sharley, a national design practice specialising in architecture, interior design, urban design and planning.
