Hailing from Mount Gambier, where I was educated at a fantastic public school and benefited from an excellent country health system, I am passionate about supporting a strong and resilient regional Australia.

I am very fortunate to have worked across Government, Non-Government and the Emergency Management Sector, where every day I have lived my values by supporting communities in times of adversity.

I have benefited from so many first responders, incident management personnel, and recovery experts sharing their experiences and time with me, helping me understand the complexities of the crisis management system.

It’s a privilege to bring what I’ve learned to help the Commonwealth support our states, territories and communities as we all grapple with increasingly frequent and severe natural hazards.
