Jayden Couzner has been with Restless Dance Theatre for over a decade. He began in the Links class for young people and progressed into Central, where he developed not only his performance skills but also strong leadership qualities—supporting his peers by demonstrating movement and guiding the group through choreography.
After graduating from Adelaide East Education Centre in 2025, Jayden successfully auditioned for Restless’ Emerging Artists program. A highlight of his journey so far has been his first performance with the Emerging Artists, working with guest choreographer Zoe Gay. One moment in particular—performing in unison with fellow Emerging Artists Ty and Harrison—stands out as especially meaningful, reflecting both his artistic growth and the strong friendships formed through the Restless class program.
Alongside his performance work, Jayden is a valued member of Restless’ ReMix team. In this role, he co-designs and delivers inclusive dance workshops for schools, contributes to sensory-friendly public performances, and supports ongoing access improvements within the studio.
Looking to the future, Jayden hopes to study Technical Production at AC Arts and is interested in exploring motion capture technology to create his own animations—combining his passion for performance with digital creativity.
