About our Classes
Restless Dance Theatre’s weekly Creative Movement Classes are open to participants aged 8 to 65 and beyond. Our foundation classes have been running in Adelaide CBD since 1991 and are now expanding across South Australia. Grounded in an inclusive approach that supports disabled and neurodivergent people, these classes warmly welcome everyone.
We’re proud to offer inspiring Creative Movement Classes that are fun, dynamic, and alive with possibility. More than just movement classes, they’re a social and creative hub where people of all ages and abilities come together — a vibrant space for expression, connection, and creativity. No experience? No problem. Our expert tutors will guide you every step of the way. Participants discover not only their physical and creative identity but also build confidence and a strong sense of belonging, becoming part of the Restless family through shared experience and collaboration.

Share the Fun — Bring a Friend for FREE!
When you join Restless Dance Theatre classes, you can invite a friend to come along for free during Week 2 of every school term. It’s a fun, easy way to share the joy of dancing and introduce someone new to Restless!
From Class to Career: The Restless Pathway
For those who want to take things further, the journey doesn’t stop here — our classes can be a stepping stone into professional dance. Through an invitation to audition, participants can progress from Links (7-14 yrs) to Central (15–26 yrs) into our Emerging Artist program, with the potential to go on and perform with the Restless Professional Company. This pathway opens doors to careers, champions leadership, talent, and visibility of disabled and neurodivergent artists. Accessibility
Classes are open to everyone and are led by highly experienced tutors in an accessible space. We are a team of highly trained staff who are experienced in meeting any access needs. We create a safe space for participants and customise classes accordingly. Our studios use lower lighting, and sound is at a lower level for those with sensory issues. Our accessible venue has ample parking.
Our tutors can work with participants with both physical and intellectual disability, catering to those with mild to medium needs. Participants with higher or additional support needs will require a Support Worker to attend.
NDIS
At Restless Dance Theatre we are passionate about making dance and movement accessible to everyone. While we are not a registered NDIS service provider, 99% of our participants use their NDIS plan to access our programs. Our programs fall under the Social and Community Participation category, which can be funded through your Core Supports budget.
