Isadora Sweeney

Isadora, also known as Isi, began her dance journey at age 8 while attending Mitcham Girls School. Isi grew up surrounded by the arts, attending theatre and dance shows with her family — and always feeling a pull toward the stage. With Restless, she continues to deepen her contemporary dance technique and express her creativity through movement.

Her first performance with Restless Dance theatre was Next of Kin (2010) at only 8 years of age. Now part of the Emerging Artist Program, Isi has grown through years of performance, including Intimate Space (2017 Adelaide Festival), Creating the Spectacle (2018 Adelaide Film Festival), Guttered (2020 Adelaide Festival), and the CINARS award-winning Écoute Pour Voir / Listen To See at DreamBIG Festival and WOMADelaide.

Outside of dance, Isi is passionate about music, working with children, and creative expression — from singing to colouring to acting. Her journey is one of artistic curiosity, community connection, and continual growth.
