Carol Wellman Kelly

With a zest for life and a passion for dance, theatre, puppetry and musicals, Carol brings 34 years of professional experience to her work with Restless Dance Theatre.

Her professional practice includes dance performance, teaching, choreographing, directing, facilitating and management and has taken her to many parts of the globe.

Carol received a BA in Dance (performance and teaching from the Victorian College of Arts and was a member of 2 Dance Plus (Buzz Dance Theatre) WA, Chrissie Parrott Dance Collective WA and Dance North QLD before heading to London for seven years to work as a dancer with choreographers on performance projects in the UK and Europe.

Emma Stokes

Emma Stokes was raised in Adelaide, South Australia and from early on showed a passion for creativity and performance. Pursuing this love led Emma to dance, theatre and voice training.

Emma completed her Bachelor of Dance Performance Degree in 2007 at the Adelaide Centre for the Arts and was the recipient of the Helpmann Academy and Minter Ellison Rising Star Award. Whilst studying Emma had the opportunity to work with internationally acclaimed choreographers including Leanne Ringelstein, Professor Xiao Xiong Zhang, Lina Limosani, Aidan Kane Munn, Troy Mundy, Kynan Hughes and Peter Sheedy.

Larissa McGowan

Born in Brisbane, Larissa began training at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence, and graduated from the VCA winning the award for ‘Most Outstanding Talent’.

Larissa joined Australian Dance Theatre in 2000 and toured extensively nationally and internationally with the company for 11yrs.

Jo Curren

Jo is a dance graduate ACA (2008) and has worked as an independent dancer, teacher, aerialist and rehearsal assistant. Jo’s performed in The Adelaide Arts Festival, Fringe Festival and Adelaide Film Festival, as well as various commercial performances. She received funding to participate in the European Aerial Dance Festival, and National Circus Festival (2010 – 2013).

Andrew Pandos

Andrew started working with Restless Dance Theatre in 2004 as a workshop participant in Restless Central. He was invited to join the Youth Ensemble in 2005 and performed in Sustenance at the State Opera Studio and Vocabulary, a collaboration with ADT in the Space Theatre, Adelaide Festival Centre. Andrew has also performed in Rebel Rebel, The Heart of Another is a Dark Forest, and the 2010 Outstanding Achievement in Youth and Community Dance award winning work Bedroom Dancing. He was one of the key performers in Sixteen one of the three films that make up Necessary Games, the award winning dance film screened at a number of national and international film festivals.

Bonnie Williams

Bonnie is an emerging contemporary dancer with a physical impairment. She is trained in a number of dance styles and graduated from Adelaide College of the Arts in 2007.

Bonnie has worked on a number of projects with various choreographers including Peter Sheedy, Aidan Kane-Munn, Xiao-Xiong Zhang and Kate Sulan.

She auditioned and joined Restless Dance Theatre during her last year at college and has performed in a number of works including The Heart of Another is a Dark Forest, a collaboration with Rawcus as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2008. Bonnie has also been a part of the Debut season 2008. She also performed in the award winning Bedroom Dancing.

Stephen Noonan

Stephen Noonan is a performance maker. He works across the fields of dance, theatre, puppetry and circus.

His first performance with Restless Dance Theatre in 1991 in their show Fidget and Funk. He went on to perform in Ikons, Love Dances, Sex Juggling, Perfect Match and 2007’s Safe from Harm.

Caroline Hardy

Caroline is a singer and dancer. In her final years at school Caroline joined the Tutti Ensemble as a chorister and her first major performance with this ensemble was in Co-Opera’s Die Fledermaus. After completing her schooling she joined Tutti Arts and has performed with the group in Hobart, Sydney and country Victoria and at SA’s Bundaleer Festival. She has also participated with the Oska Bright team from the UK in film-making workshops.

Michael Hodyl

Michael has loved to dance and sing from a very young age. He joined Restless Central at the age of 21 and in 2013 he was invited in to the Youth Ensemble. Michael performed in Lorcan Hopper’s Debut 4 production of The Elements. He has also made his professional debut in a film clip for the band, The Audreys which was released in 2014.
