Beginning in 2017, Charlie’s partnership with Restless Dance Theatre has flourished, showcasing his dedication to performance and dance, leaving an indelible mark on the stage.
In 2018, Charlie captivated audiences at the Adelaide Film Festival with his performance in Creating the Spectacle. His innate talent and passion for the arts shone through, setting the stage for future successes.
In 2019, Charlie joined the esteemed ranks of The Company, a testament to his commitment and artistry. His performances have graced stages across Australia, including the Adelaide Festival, Brisbane Festival, and Sydney Festival. The Advertiser said about Guttered “Many magical moments…Guttered is both affirming and assertive, and an absolute delight”.
Charlie’s versatility extended to the DreamBIG Festival and WOMADelaide with Ecoute Pour Voir/Listen To See.
Embarking on the Seeing Through Darkness tour, Charlie continued to captivate audiences. His journey evolved with Rewards for the Tribe, which took him to the UK and major festival like RISING: Melbourne.
In 2022 Charlie was part of the Human Services South Australia See Me for Me campaign. Charlie along with Zoë Dunwoodie wee the stars of our collaboration with Patch Theatre, Home where they invited audiences of children to join them in dream worlds, every time a new door opened a new world emerges.
In 2023, Charlie starred in the premiere season of Shifting Perspectives for the Illuminate Festival, before performing Exposed on a region South Australian tour with Country Arts SA, Sydney Opera House for its 50th birthday celebrations, Theatre Royal Hobart, and SIDance Festival Seoul, South Korea. He was also a semi-finalist in the Young Achiever Awards for the Carlew Creative Achievement category.
2024 started off with a sold-out season in Adelaide Festival with the premiere of Private View, before an Australian tour. Charlie also travelled to perform Shifting perspectives in VIVID Sydney, and saw the world premiere of Dancing Against the Odds and Counterpoise as part of OzAsia Festival with the Adelaide Film Festival.
Beyond the stage, Charlie’s achievements extend to the realm of sports, where he is a champion swimmer proudly representing Australia. His talent took him all the way to the World Games in Abu Dhabi, a testament to his dedication and excellence in both the arts and athletics.
